Used Waterloo guitars are out there. I’ve seen a few along the way that even I was tempted.

Looks like a great electric guitar. I like the effort Collings put into this guitar in terms of the broken in feel and aged chrome components of the body. Looks like a winner to me

Sorry to hear about this. I think it is not fair to string you along with this custom guitar thing and then you end up with what you didn’t order. I have never heard of this before.

Congratulations on your new guitar. This OM is a very special one for Collings as it does sound totally different from their other models and has the great neck dimensions of Lage’s Martin as well. What kind of music do you play on it?

I think that the varnish option is the best thing that has come about from Collings. I bought a d1a with varnish and it plays much nicer than my non - varnish version. The tone on the varnish guitar is absolutely amazing

Maybe they have a new guitar painter who just hasn’t got the technique perfect yet? Who knows
