Yes sir! CJ-45A

I added the bone pins with abalone dots. I already had them. I thought I had some plain bone pins.....(no dot) but I couldn't find them. I may order some, but these look good too. Maybe not as authentic though....

Gorgeous! Can’t wait for mine to arrive…

That looks really great and by the looks of your top I'd say its an Adi top? The sunburst is fantastic. Yes, I read that the fretboards on these are RW which to me seems appropriate for this guitar. I can't wait to play one or even hear one in person. I also understand that the FB is a different radius than you usually see on modern guitars...and the back is supposed to be nearly flat....much like the original Gibson Jumbos I guess? Anyway..........looks really awesome and would love to hear about how they sound....very tempted to order one up.

Beautiful guitar enjoy it. Do you like the bone pins? Do you notice a difference in tone?

Yes....Rosewood fretboard. The only Collings acoustic with a rosewood board. Although all the Waterloo's have rosewood fingerboard's.

Yes...as I stated above, it is a Adirondack top.. And the fretboard is a 12" radius. All other Collings are a 14"-26" compound radius. And yes....the back of the guitar is flat. The neck is big and round!
The sound is different than any other Collings. It's mid focused, but not boxy at all. It is rounded in the high's (It's a Traditional model. ;) ) and does not have the big, deep low's like a Gibson, but again, the mids are magical. So satisfying and fun to play. I like it more and more. Even with the big neck, it's the best playing Collings I've ever owned.

To me it almost reminds me of a super high end Waterloo. Flat back, rosewood board. The braces are not smoothed like every other Collings I've see, owned or played. But not at all boxy sounding like all Waterloo's I've played.

AND.... I was able to score a Collings case for this bad boy.... I'm happy!

Very nice. And a traditional case to rest it in. Fantastic.

Thanks! I love the look of bone pins. I notice no difference in tone. The Ivoroid pins are fine, but just look synthetic to me....which they are.

Just ordered some plain, no dot pins for this one. https://www.stewmac.com/parts-and-hardw ... -pins.html

Another thing unrelated to the pins is, they, Collings says, this guitar has a quick fall off of the notes. I haven't noticed that. It is a dry tone, but has lots of sustain. I even noticed that in the Artisan demo.

Did I mention this guitar is fun to play....put's a smile on my face and very inspiring.
