Anyone have a chance to see/play/hear one yet?

I haven’t yet, but I do believe there are a few out in the wild now. Hopefully we’ll get some first-hand reports soon.

There are a couple of folks on AGF who have theirs and are raving about them. Mine’s on order and won’t arrive until late May.

I’m eager to hear reports from the real world on these. Also impressions of the neck carve.

I'm loving mine! The midrange is just magical. It doesn't have the low-end that every Gibson J45 I've played does. But it's a special guitar for sure. I'll get a photo of this beauty soon.

And this neck is something. It's the biggest Collings carve I've ever experienced. At first I thought it might be a tad too large....and I like large necks, but after having it a couple of weeks, it's pretty amazing!

markT, how sweet it is, congratulations. My 2008 CJ is just too good to think about the CJ45, but that's ok. best wishes, bert

Yes sir! CJ-45A

I added the bone pins with abalone dots. I already had them. I thought I had some plain bone pins.....(no dot) but I couldn't find them. I may order some, but these look good too. Maybe not as authentic though....
