I thought that the early production cases had blue interior(blueberry) vs the later purple (raspberry). I have 2 blue ones, one with a low serial # and now a newer one with a high(xx500's). So now im not sure that they are exclusive to low serial numbers. Although most blue lined cases, I have seen had serial numbers less than xx100
Maybe they started blue and transitioned to purple, but had some existing orders with dealers with blue ones?
I love both colors, the blue looks killer with a dark sunburst, and purple looks just as good with a nice natural or torrified spruce top or lighter sunburst.
IMO, these cases they really complete the Collings experience. Just beautiful, i hope they can start remaking them someday, need a 00 case and DS case!
