In addition to my 2008 Collings CJ, I have a 2001 SCGC Vintage Jumbo, 1990 Martin 000-16, luthier built, custom Small Jumbo, Eastman E20-OMtc, and speaking of Eastman Archtops... a 2012 John Pisano AR880ce. Archtops are such versatile instruments, why play traditional music is my vibe... bert ...

Could be one of many things, I bought a used Collings that had an old K&K pickup... the many wires were bouncing around like craz.
You probably need a luthier to take a look, can't imagine a loose brace. like Frank said, a loose tuner could do it. etc etc

Often, it does take someone with experience to have the guitar in-hand to diagnose certain problems. What Frank said about the relief +/- in the neck might factor in. Going from summer to winter this year had my 2008 CJ start pinging on the treble side, tweak of the truss rod to add a little relief ...
